Anniece Kimball Coleman was born in St. Louis Missouri on March 2, 1929 to the union of Gary Vassar and Anniece Kimball Coleman. With spiritual guidance from her parents, she accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior at a young age and served Him all her life. Anniece attended Simmons Elementary School and graduated from Sumner High School. She also attended Harris Stowe Teachers College and received several certificates of academic excellence from St. Louis State School-Hospital. In 1948, Anniece was united in marriage to Theodore Cornelius Thompson Sr., and three sons were born: Theodore Cornelius Jr., Armand Coleman, and Gary Vassar Thompson. In 1955, she was united in marriage to William Christian Allen and two sons were born: Stephen Christian and Vernon Joseph Allen. In 1981, she was united in holy matrimony to Nathaniel Vaughn. Anniece was employed as a Certified Nurse Assistant and Med Tech at Bellefontaine Rehabilitation Center. After 40 years, she took an early retirement to take care of her stepmother Grace Coleman. Anniece was a faithful member of Christ Southern Mission Baptist Church where she served God by teaching Sunday School, supporting various ministries, and helping those in need. Later in life she also became a faithful member and attend Westside Missionary Baptist Church. She was always eager to share the Gospel and pray. Anniece was most proud of her love for God, her family, her church activities, teaching the mentally challenged, and being a great cook. Her homemade yeast rolls, baked macaroni and cheese, and 7-Up cake were some of her best dishes that everyone looked forward to eating. on December 8, 2017, the Lord called Anniece home and she passed away peacefully in her sleep. She now joins her loved ones that have preceded her in death; parents Gary and Anniece, sister Ella Mae, four sons Theodore, Armand, Gary, Stephen, and husband Nathaniel. Those remaining to cherish her memory: her son Vernon (Melanie) Allen; grandchildren Tonia (Larry) Jones, Alisha (Jason) Harrison, Adrianne (Roy) Twymon, Katrina (Kendrick) Taylor, Mary, Patrick, LaMecia & Prince Evans, Bradford & Cornelius Allen, Monia Scott, Christina (Sharron) Gines, Christopher Morgan, Chris, Carl, Sheri and Kennethia Thomas; great grandchildren Ebony, Jaden, Addison, Aevy, Roy III, Anthony, Stephanie, Steve, Justice, Michael, Meikiyia, Elijah, Brelynn, Takeem, and MaCayla; daughter-in-laws, Patricia Thompson Nelson and Virginia Lajoie Allen along with many other family members relatives and friends.
