Rosemary Adams

February 17, 2022

Rosemary Adams was born March 12, 1929, at a time when the world was much different from the world today. Although we struggle with the social ills of today, she too struggled with the social ills of her time. Like many people of old and even some of those in the Bible, one's life purpose for a time is exposed, and then behold there is nothing else spoken of them. There was a servant in the Bible who was given the task of carrying the shield of Goliath as he went out to face David and his sling and stones Nothing else was ever spoken of the servant. Who was he? What happened to him? I'm sure he had a full life somewhere on the earth. The details of his life were never spoken. But one purpose of his life for sure was for him to carry the shield of Goliath. I'm sure he had a home, a family, a job, friends, enemies, and other cares of life itself. Someone special and others in his life knew him and shared his life with him. So it was with Rosemary Adams. Rosemary Adams lived 92 solid years in this world. We may not know many of the details of her life but we do know that she was blessed of God to be healthy all of those years up until her untimely death. Rosemary Adams experienced the cares of life in many ways that we may never know. However, we do know one of her life's purposes without a doubt, was to birth four beautiful healthy babies. Mrs. Adams birthed four children. One child, Lawrence Larry Adams, preceded her in death. Her remaining children, Clarence Adams, Joyce Jackson (Darryl), and Colette Atwood will share fond memories of their mother. From these four purposeful births a plethora of individuals remain to cherish and respect her memory; granddaughters and grandson, Chanta Muhammad (Antonio), Ashley Miles and Dennis Butler; great-granddaughters and great-grandsons, Sierra White (Brandon), Jasmine Dunn (Ben), Ojana Muhammad, Amir Muhammed, and Rinrique; great-great-granddaughters and great-great-grandsons; Olivia White, Chloe White, Journee Richardson, Trinity White, Brandon White, London White, and Kafar Richardson. What a blessing. The Moore family, who were very special to her, and the family will especially miss her. There are no snippets of Goliath's servant's life. However, we do know that Mrs. Adams, an independent woman, loved music and the annual Annie Malone Parade. She loved to adorn herself with costume jewelry, especially bracelets and rings. She topped off her look with red nail polish and red lipstick. Like any true Saint Louisan, she loved drinking White Castle coffee. Her work was mainly of a domestic nature where she was welcomed in private homes and shared the lives of other families. The circumstances of life many times are met head-on without expectation or preparation but one's life purpose when filled to completion, gives a feeling of satisfaction and contentment. To know that your family is embraced and loved by others as you carry them in your heart is gratifying. In her life, there were separations and a coming together Rosemary Adams was separated from this earth and the cares of this world on February 18, 2022. There is sure to be a great and glorious coming together with family and friends in eternity. Peace and Blessings
