Ruby Mae Little Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on Him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation, but is passed from death unto life. John 5:24 KJV Ruby Mae Little was born, the youngest of three girls, on October 26, 1926, in Bolton, Mississippi to the late Tommie and Mozella Smith. She was joined in holy matrimony to the late Charlie Little in February 1946. Early in life she accepted Christ as her Savior and united with the Asbury Methodist Church. Upon arriving in St. Louis she joined Washington Metropolitan AME Zion Church and maintained her membership in this body till her death. She departed this life at 3:45 a. m. November 15, 2021. After her arrival in St. Louis she pursued a career in nursing. Ruby served in nursing throughout the various hospitals in the city. She retired after over thirty years of service from St. Louis University Hospital. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, two sisters, Tommyzene ("T”) and Amanda ("Honey"), her husband and one son Anthony. She is survived by: two sons, Charlie and Robert (Donna)-Tampa, Florida, nine (9) grandchildren, eighteen (18) great grandchildren, one (1) great great grandchild on the way. In addition to a host of nieces and nephews. In addition there is a host of friends and acquaintances who will miss her greatly.
